Hi guys...
I am a new owner of a 1125r (2008) and am loving it after owning an 05 Speed Triple, and a 04 buell xb12r. I would call the S3 more refined but the 1125 is a beast.
Went for a pretty fast ride today with mates on gsxr1000's etc, the buell went great, and I kept up for most of the ride, especially on the twisties.
I have a couple of refinements I want to do, firstly the brakes, the rears are pretty crap, front not too bad but not sure about aftermarket pads due to none coming with the retaining clips so may have to stick with stock.
My main question is, when cruising along, I find that when I accelerate then decelerate I feel some play betweeen the two like a dead spot, like something is moving from one spot and back to the other, hard to explain, but theres a click when I accelerate then another click when decelerating like something is loose or has play.
I have read about the denoid and also throttle problem but not sure if this is what everything is meaning by the throttle dead spot or whether its something else, or if its normal.
I am about to upgrade to an ebr ecm and barkers exhaust, I'm not sure if this helps this issue or not?
