who's are these? Nice job. I was wondering about mounting. Where exactly did you mount the ones on the sides? I putting my kit on and notices if they were mounted to the frame, the scoops blocked most of the light.

And where in the front did you mount them to?

I want to do this to my bike it looks great! I would also like to know where they put them and where they got the kits?

those are mine up top!!!! me and my friends bikes. we did them sunday.

the front ones were mounted one under the headlight attatched to the aiming bracket and one under the guage cluster. i purchased 2 rectangle ones and put them on the left and right scoops pointing at the engine. i put one pod on the chin fairing facing towards the muffler and one on the rearmost muffler bracket facing back. i also put a stip behind my license plate pointing under the tail.

i picked up more today to do the gap under the seat by the airbox cover and under my (translucent) airbox cover. i have another plan for the windscreen too which i'll post pics up of. it was fun and easy as long as you use the right materials.

check out superbrightleds.com they are right down the street from my work and have some great prices.

I just got my transparent red airbox cover yesterday so I'm really looking forward to putting some lights in it someday. First I need to try out an airbox delete to see how I like the noise, I hear they're pretty loud. I don't think the lights would be very effective with the current airbox.

I did cut some holes in it though, so it might still look alright if I stuck the lights inside the inner box, but I'll see how it goes.

yeah im still gettin used to the noise of the open airbox. i dont really like the sound but it will look great after i get some lights under there. i guess that will make up for the sound. maybe. i just tried something out with the windscreen tonight. i'll post pics in a sec

ok so i had an idea and am still working with it and seeing if i like it. i need to move my leds around in the windscreen to hide direct sight of the diodes themselves but this is what i got.

pay no attention to the large amount of swirl marks in the windscreen lol. those will be buffed out. but i got some scrap black vinyl and cut a lightning bolt out and stuck it on from the back side. to me it looks a little off center but im never 100% happy with anything i do lol. like i said though i plan to re-do the lights so it "glows" instead of "shines".

my HIDs should be here this week and i'll re-do the lighting while i have it apart again. let me know what you think

I like the windscreen. I think it looks pretty centered. It's hard when someone is at an angle and wider at the top. You're never gonna win if you overthink it. Can you see it when the headlight is on? I've been debating whether or not I would do my flyscreen when I do my airbox. I think this is the first time I've seen someone do it.

yeah my wife said you could see the blue light in the windscreen when the lights are on. i dont want to be able to see the lights so i will fix it asap.

i bought some of my led pods from superbrightleds.com who i actually just now noticed is a sponsor i guess. seen there banner at the bottom of the page! they are right down the street from my work. friendly people and pretty damn good prices compared to everyone around here. i'll be messing with my windscreen area this weekend.
