Hey Guys,

Took off my stock headlights and I am going to replace them with the Acerbis cyclops headlights. The pitiful 1 picture diagram that came with the cyclops headlights is just enough to show me what wires are what.

Has anyone tried clipping off the stock connector from the stock headlights and re-using it with new headlights? The stock one only has 4 wires running to it, and the cyclops has 6, wondering if I just need to run the 3rd light in parallel with one of the normal lights.

I’m not much of a hands on type of guy so this is kind of making me sweat a bit hehe, im more more of a computer nerd then a "hey you can do it yourself" kinda guy.

By looking at the Acerbis unit, I would say that the flood light is for the high beam...I would wire the spot light and the little 5 watt bulb to your low beam, and the flood light to your high beam. You might also need to use some kind of relay to prevent loss of power to the lights. However, I don't know that much about automotive electrical work, so I could be wrong.

You will be, owning a Buell now. Might as well dive right into it, theres no better way to learn. Just set aside some time so you wont get distracted or rush, and if you get stumped...just leave it a bit. I do that and the next day the answer I couldnt figure out usually presents itself [up]. I dont think theres much that can go wrong really, If its wired wrong you may blow some fuses but thats about it. ( so buy some extra ones they're cheap )

Would you happen to be selling you current headlight and flyscreen? If so I got first dibs!
