Just throwing an idea out there. To cut back on the "I'm new and what should I do to upgrade or modify my bike?" posts, is there a way to add a page after someone registers to give them a list of the most popular upgrades or mods for their bike? Then if they need to get more technical they can post.

Don't beat me up just trying to keep hundreds of duplicate threads from re-appearing.

It is hard to keep track of all of the introductions, but I think its nice to know who's buyin Buells and what not. Maybe we can talk StevenC into making a "where to start?" write up. I would do it but.....I'm lazy. I WILL push the sticky button though!

So maybe the repetitive questions can be cut down, but the personal replies are what brought us all here in the first place.

You're right. I think there are some good write ups that should be a collection for the beginner but any personal questions regarding one of those subjects or something off the wall could go to the board.

I think Buellxb should look into the idea of "sticky" posts... just my 2c, but I think that would go a long way in reducing duplicates.

We've got Sticky Posts, they're contained in each "category". Click "General Motorcycle Chat" or "Do-It-Yourself Buell Mods" on the main Homepage. Lots of stickies in those as well as some of the others.
