Curious if anyone does any ADV/DS riding and what your weapon of choice is.

My XB has been down plenty of dirt/gravel roads, but I'm researching bikes that are more suited for off road use.

I'm also in the market for DS/Sumo myself. I have been giving the Husaberg's the stink eye for a while, working off the same platform as the modern KTM's I think they will be a beast for service roads and wider trails. Then just grab a set of KTM Sumo wheel's, bolts right up the 'Bergs, and you got an amazing around town machine.

I'm looking for something that will be able to tackle dirt/gravel roads and some simpler trails, but still be able to ride on the pavement to and from the places I explore.

The biggest issue I have is that my inseam is about 30", and that's pretty short for most of the DS style bikes.

I almost pulled the trigger on a DRZ400 right before i picked up my Daytona. If i can get a decent price for my dirt bike (RM) i may use the money from that and a bit extra to hunt down a DRZ still.......
