Hello all - picked up an 09 xb9sx that I'm going to start using as a commuter/weekend cruiser. From my search, it looks like the Ogio No Drag seems to be what most prefer, but the last thread I found was from 2010. I'm assuming some new options have come out. Currently using my very plain Northface bag, which does have enough storage room, but I would like to have the chest strap to keep it from sliding around or slipping off my shoulders.

I really like my Alpinestar Protection Bag. Came with a bionic back protector, has a fair amount of room with a low profile, has a helmet net, etc.

Kriega has some awesome bags. I currently have the R25. Very comfortable, no flapping straps, and it's taken quite a bit of abuse over the last year.

Kriega USA

Mine in use.

R25

I was looking at that. It looks pretty nice but kind of $$$

That R25 looks the way to go. Even though its about 3 times as much as I want to spend, I usually find that you get what you paid for. However, the motocentric one J20 listed does look like it would get the job done though.

Crossroads of life, what to do....

I agree, I've had my R25 from Kriega for about 2-years now. It works great. I did a lot of research and thought about some of the Ogio bags and others, but ended up sticking with Kriega. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their bags.

I bought mine from RevZilla, as they were the best price available. If they aren't, I believe they'll match any price out there. Stupid fast shipping as well.

Revzilla has the R25 a little cheaper than the Kriega website, but they also have the 2010 verson for 159 right now. Doesn't look like much of a difference, except for better hydration pack/tube routing. I'll probably just get the older version, unless someone has some input on why the new version is any better...? Thanks for all the comments.

Joe Rocket one looks nice too, liking the helmet spot. Is there a helmet pouch on the Kriega? From their website, doesn't appear to be one.

Had a Ogio No Drag but it was a little big for my needs, now I use a Ogio Less Drag and am very happy with that. A little smaller, nothing flaps around, very sleek.

I use an old Camelbak Mule with the bladder removed.... My Nexus7 tablet fits nicely in the bladder pocket and in the other pockets I keep keys, chargers, extra phone batteries and some other stuff. I don't haul a whole lot of stuff around with me.
