Advice on bike

Looking at trading my 03 XB9R and getting this 2008 XB12Scg I found. It's got 12000 miles, jardine exhaust, and it's translucent black. Asking 4950, fair price for an 08?

Seems like a fair price to me. I mean, I would try to offer him something a bit less, but even at full asking, that's a solid deal on a good-running '08.

Ya that's what I thought I didn't wanna get rid of my 03 but for an Scg I might I think at 4500 it's a really good deal. I'll call Monday and see what they'll do

I got my 08 ScG for $5000 with 7000 miles. I'd hit him a lil lower if I was you. 08 is a good bike, new ECM & lots of other things

nope didnt look at it but yea its a pretty good price....tho id try to offer lower since ive seen a few dealers here in wi trying to move buells and failed. they ended up taking a hit and just running it through the auction.

So he wants $4950 with your trade? Seems a bit steep to me. Have you looked on www.kbb.com to see what the scg is worth? I paid $4300 for my 08 XB9SX, no trades...

Oooh, ok...thats not a terrible price. The 12's are worth a little more then the 9's.

I paid 5500 for my 2007 xb12scg with 6000 miles on it two years ago..i would say your getting a good deal

So this lightning has flat black bars more like a firebolt then a lightning. I want stock lightning bars..is it hard to swap them out? I know a lot of guys have these aftermarket bars. I just don't have a picture of them. Might be like Crg or something?

Just picked up a 2008scg with 4000 miles for 5600. Sounds like a good deal

My bad it has crossroads bars. Not a fan, hard to switch back to stock?

i switched to crossroads on my bike and it was not hard at all, took some time haha but easy to do. If you want i do have a pair of stock xb12s bars.
