hi.

I cleaned throttle body today. (safe sensor). I sprayed and cleaned the plate with paper towel, and I opened the throttle and sprayed inside.

After that, I rode my bike. Idle goes down slowly.. when i stop at the signal, Idle is 2000. then goes slow to 1000.

something weird.. what should i do to fix it? (Before I clean the throttle body, Idle was stable, and rpm goes down normally) TPS? if i take my bike to Harley dealer, how do they charge for TPS reset?

Did you clean it on the bike or remove it and clean it?

I'd start by doing a TPS reset first and see if that helps...

i didnt remove the throttle body. just removed air filter with the bottle of air filter box.

I don't have cable....T,T

if you sprayed down the throttle body you could have blown the plug off or hose for your charcoal canister (cali model)

i dont have any plug there. When i took off air filter box, there was nothing on there

Try the TPS reset man. Do that and see if it helps. During this you will readjust the idle, it may fix it.

Otherwise sounds like you have an intake leak maybe.

sir: look again at the pic that squid was kind enough to post and regain your composure. there is a vacuum port on the throttle body that faces rear. the pic has it circled with arrow. if there is NO vacuum hose going to it then it must be plugged. any auto parts store will have suitable rubber plug to fit. do that first. then refit everything you removed from atop the throttle body except the air box cover, start bike and see what you have. if that doesn't work i believe you'll be in need of a TPS reset. assuming your bike is 2003-2007 it will require either you accessing the ECM with ECM-spy or dealer doing it.

intake leak? between throttle body and rubber?

Yes I'm talking about the intake seals between TB and heads.

That port they are talking about is for california models only. Other models have nothing hooked up there. Just put a plug on it. I doubt this is your issue as my bike ran fine with that port open, but I did plug it just because.

Do a TPS reset, set idle, and go from there...

i JUST ORDERED THE CABLE... THERE IS NO INTAKE LEAK..... I JUST SPRAYED THROTTLE CLEANER AROUND INTAKE SEAL, NO LEAK AT ALL...

What's up with the yelling? So you checked for an intake leak? Since you know more than we do then good luck fixing it [up]
