Well to put it simply I've got a confusing life.

I recently got cheated on by the girl I was with for the past year and now I've got quite the relationship situation.

I've got my ex (baby mama) who I'm sort of in a custody battle with, but we've been getting along incredibly well recently. she wants to get back together but keeps claiming I'm just trying to screw her over and I'll have to change some things about my life if we do, she also wants to get a place together.

girl 2 is a former coworker of mine who is very bright and now in med school. we've sort of dated but she says we aren't dating. Kind of have a "friends with benefits" situation going on there but we both have obvious feelings for eachother.

and the third girl which is basically my best friend and long time love interest (we've just never been single at the same time). Nothing wrong with this girl, we've always been there for eachother and she's going through the same kind of custody situaton as I am. our kids are only a couple of months apart.

anyone have any input?

Well it's kliche and corny but you gotta go with the heart man! The brain will always lie and tell you **** is ok when it's not! I tend to stay away from Ex's for the fact that they are an Ex for a reason!! The one who cheated is automatically out, and the FWB one doesnt seem to want anything?? Personally I'd be careful bout the friend cause if it goes bad you lose a friend and a girlfriend? So yeah....I dont think I helped at all there!! Sorry

lol it's all good, the fwb one is afraid to label it basically, and I think she might be a little leery about what her mom would think about her being with a white guy.
It's different with the ex because we have a daughter.
I won't touch the one that cheated with a ten foot pole so no problem there.

girl in the middle is UGLY. the third girl is your long time BEST friend, don't screw it up. i would stick with the first girl (hot mama).

not photogenic, but she's very attractive in person

the first one is my baby mama and kind of a boat load of crazy/immaturity

and as for the friend, that's why I never acted on it

#1 and no custody battle and no support paynents.and your with your kid every night.a cheater will always cheat though.
#2 no
#3 seems like the right time for both of you and your already close with no bad history to get past.

#3 imo

I brought that custody issue up with the first one and she basically told me I was just trying to screw her over (even though we'd be living together and my money would still be going to everything), and she seems to be completely against the idea of any sort of equal physical custody agreement even if we live in the same house

my only real consideration for 1 is for my daughter, but I think it might do more harm than good

I'm a research technician in biomedical sciences (it only sounds like it makes money)

Take care of YOUR baby first, if that includes the mother then it includes the mother.

Get YOUR head space right so you don't get into more messes like this that can hurt innocent people.

Use a condom.

if your talking long term sooner or later a woman who is making well over 100,000 a year will tire of a man making 70 or 80k.dont know how well you know #2 but it seems like #3 you know all you need to. you already have a history and just needed the chance to take it to the next level.imo

that's why I'm in a custody battle, she hadn't been letting me see my daughter.

and I do use condoms, she also told me she was on birth control (that was a lie). her situation is a big mess of half truths. if you really want to know it I can pm you.

I'm very much not trying to ignore my daughter, I'm trying to be there for her. despite everything between her mother and I, I've always tried to be there for her and the mom. that includes death threats and not being able to see my little girl.

lol i have had 3 children while women were on birth control.that 99.9 percent is ******** or all women are going to chose and there is nothing we can do when the clock starts ticking.i told both my boys when a woman says shes on birth control wear 2 condoms if she says she cant get pregnant wear 3.

lol, well I was told when I was 15 that it wasn't likely I'd ever have kids. I regret how things happened but I'll never regret my little girl.

and I'm not worried about the money thing, I'm planning on getting my md/phd after I finish up my bio degree. I current have a degree in psychology and since I work at a university I can take free classes. I also have an incredibly broad knowledge base which has gotten me some very useful connections

#3. I have a best female friend and if we ever have a go at a relationship I know there will ups and downs but I know I'd be the most happy I would ever be. I say it's worth the risk.

I agree. Go with number 3, but only if your heart is in it. get stuff straightened out with the custody battle, school, all of that. Don't drag your best friend through a mess. Get stuff straight, and go into a relationship with #3 with your heart and head about you. It sounds like everything is there, the timing just hasn't worked. Go after it, and do it right.

Keep your head up! [up]

My thoughts.Keep #1 so you can be the dad to your daughter that she needs,Keep #2 but make sure she KNOWS that is a FWB and work #3 for the FWB thing. That way you will get the best of all even though the EX is still in the picture.BTW if you keep her around all you will need to do is work on her being a unfit mother if things don't work out good. Then you will have your daughter and still keep #2 and #3 around. If you keep #1 I have a good feeling it will be short term.

I have enough that I could get my daughter, but then things would get uncivilized very quickly. I want her mother to be in her life, just as long as she isn't acting nutty.
