Hey Guys,

I really like this Airoh TR1 helmet but I can't find any places in the US that have them. I don't mind buying overseas as long as its not gonna cost an arm and a leg to get it over here. I looking to get a size medium of this one...

or the black one. Does anyone know where I could get ahold of one of these?

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks!

Don't know about the shipping issue but they have some nice looking helmets! I would also like to know about how to get a hold of their products.

Did a quick google search and found this article from Webbikeworld: Airoh S4 Motorcycle Helmet

From the WBW Review:
I don't know if Airoh is planning on distributing their helmets in the U.S.A., but the helmets can easily be purchased online from the UK or other countries and shipped to the U.S. very quickly.

All it takes is getting used to parting with your weak greenbacks, which makes the exorbitant shipping fees seem rather brutal. We purchase many items from the UK for various webBikeWorld reviews and they typically arrive here on the East Coast faster than many of the items purchased from California or even the rest of the U.S.A.

I found this site that has some for sale: FC-Moto (Airoh Helmets

Has anyone bought one? And how do they like it? I read the review, but wanted to see if any buellers have used it?

I bought my Airoh Stelt Senior Dirt biking helmet from FC-Moto. Shipping ended up around 27.90 for me but it took a while for FC-Moto to ship the helmet out. Don't take the pricing on the site at it's word. It should be cheaper as we don't have to pay VAT (probably around $50+ cheaper).

In all it took about a month to receive the helmet. But it was worth it. It's the most comfortable and lightest helmet I've ever worn.

I'm not a big fan of modular helmets and would probably get their GP helmets that are around 1250g(2.76 lbs). My Airoh Stelt is a medium and came in at 950g (2.26lbs) so I think that the weights are based on the large or XL size shells(4 shell sizes).
So if you get a medium it could be a bit lighter than it says on their site.

Also, make sure you measure for the correct size, it'll be a pain to return if you have to. I ordered a medium which on their sizing chart is the correct size for me and it fit perfectly. It's a little tighter around the bottom but fits nicely once you have the helmet on.

The are not DOT or Snell approved as those are US standards but they are ECE 22.05 approved and ACU Gold stickered (European standards). ECE 22.05 is more stringent than Snell and DOT and the ACU Gold sticker is required for the helmet to allowed for use in racing.

Many professional racers in the MotoGP circuit and AMA motorcross, Enduro, etc., use Airoh helmets in the USA. I'm planning on get a street bike helmet from them as money permits because my Stelt is awesome.

I actually just purchased a TR1 in black. Unfortunately I bought it sight unseen in L and it's too small. These things really do run a size small. Other than that it's a pretty awesome helmet, looks cool, and the integrated sunvisor is awesome. It also has a neat quick release catch which is apparently standard in europe. You adjust it once the first time you wear it, and from then on you just slide one end into the other. I don't really know why we're using D-rings over this system.
If you're still looking to find one of these helmets, I'm looking to unload mine. Send me a message on here if so.
