Alarm System

I need to get an alarm system. I am hoping you guys can help me. There are about 500 dif alarm systems. If you have an alarm system that works great what kind is it. If anyone has tried an alarm that sucked ass please explain. I want something simple but effective without spending $300.

Cyclone 866F. Easy to install, tiny, and way louder than almost any other market out there. Also not too pricey.

After looking @ both alarms I decited to get the Cyclone 866f. The price was affordable and the pager was optional. I did not need the pager. Ok, so its been orderd I should get it in about 5 days or less. How much work is it to install on a buell firebolt

Let me know when you get it, and it's a straightforward install from there.

I assume that most of the wiring in a firebolt is located up under the front fairing, just like an XB, correct?

I just got my new Cyclone 866 in the mail. I need any help info, pics, or advice. If anyone has any do's or dont's. please send them my way. I am going to install it tomorrow. I cant believe how small it is. Very cool.[confused]

I have 4 wires comming from the kill switch which colors do i need to use? from the key ignition which color wire do i use?[confused][confused] I am so close, but the wire diagram sucks.

I have a firebolt and I believe you guys have Lightnings, so our wires are going to be diff. I just orderd a pro install kit for my Cyclone alarm. I should be able to get it done as soon as my kit is deliverd.[mad]

The wires shouldn't be that different, and the pro install kit isn't much help. The guys at Frey Moto sent one to me for free due to a shipping error, and it was useless.

Great! So im no closer to , ok lets do this. I will ask one question a day. Which color wire comming from the kill switch on a 09 firebolt do I splice into?

I cannot imagine that your wiring is significantly different from my XB12Ss wiring. I would expect to find the same wires housed in your bike as you can see in my photos.

Just follow what I did in my photos. It'll get you to where you need to go.
