All 3 relays hot to the touch...

All 3 of the relays on my 04 XB12R are so hot that you can't touch them for more than 2 seconds. This is only after running the bike a few minutes. I'm probably gonna buy some new ones but it's just weird that all three of them are on fire and not just 1.

None of the contact points are melted or anything they're just super hot.

Sounds like there is an excessive draw. What do these relays supply? I have an 1125 so no clue-ish on the XB.

The manual labels them as Ignition, Key Switch, and Start. They supply several things, I know the ignition relay links to injectors, coil, ECM, speed sensor, and fuel pump.

My bike has an overheating problem but everything seems to be working as far as electrical goes.

Looks like PO cut all wires for and removed the clutch safety switch, other than that all wires look fine.

Do they only get that hot only after the engine runs…or will they heat up with the ignition on and the engine NOT running?
