Hey Pa. guys: i believe this post is going to save you some time, aggravation, and resolve some confusion. drones at PennDot just changed their online registration process AGAIN but i must say that after resolving the initial confusion and seeing that registration rates increased again....WTF else is new....it really is much easier. below is the link to renew/restore registrations online. note this:
1-you can now renew for 2 full years as opposed to the traditional 1 year.
2-the reg. plate stickers are a thing of the past from now on. you can either leave your present sticker or stack of stickers if you're like me...on the plate or use a heat gun and remove them. they will no longer be required on any PA plate.
3-after renewing online...see link below.....BE DAMN SURE you do NOT log off until you get to the last page and PRINT OUT your registration form. must have adobe installed. print it out, sign it, it is now your permanent registration card. penndot will NO LONGER send you anything in the mail.

Does that apply to us old timers that still write checks? I have never registered any plates online.

applies to all dave. you should try re-upping online. fast...no stamps...no checks...the site works nicely. haven't sent in check in years but i suspect if you choose that method you'll only receive a fresh reg card....definitely no stickers.
