Special O.P.S has one.
Or you could probably cut your own out of a welding blanket and use high temp Exhaust wrap paint, then use high temp silicone to fuse the fiberglass threads together at the ends...(I did one for under my seat) or if you have sewing skills, you could probably sandwich the fiberglass between Two pieces of an ironing board (reflective side out) cover and sew the edges (double stitch it). Just a thought.
Okay, I may be able to build heat barriers, but in order to justify that I would need to have at least 5 people committed to a full package, and prepaid in full.
It may be easier for people to develop their own heat barriers.
If you are running an exhaust in combo with this intake kit, a tune would be in your bike's best interest. I can work out a bundle package if that's something you're interested in.
You are correct anrkizm. The FAST intake, however, has been shown to boost horsepower and torque values, so clearly the stock rubber boot doesn't max out the throttle body's volumetric flow rate.
In reality, this modification should be considered like an advanced open air box kit. Most Buell riders already open up their intake. This just takes it one step further.
i'm about to spend 170 on a chain drive kit, and going on vacation. but as soon as vacay is done (mid july) i'll prepay for one. not sure how quick you are trying to make this order.
Okay, we have 4 committed individuals. If you all can prepay, I can start pursuing producing the kit. That should work out to $180 per person. I have to double check on total product cost with the newest iteration of the design before I can confirm this price.

Nuage420b: I can't promise I'll continue to make these in mid-July. If you'd like to put a non-refundable deposit of $100 down, with $100 due when you're ready, I can make one and hold it for you.
At this point I will not be including heat barriers. I am looking into producing them, but they will need to be purchased separately. It will likely be a month or two after the intake kits come in that I can start producing the barriers.
Oh yeah, Spec OPS would work as well. Totally blanked on that. There are some design improvements I would make, however. I'd still prefer to produce my own.
