I agree, i wonder if he had a no compete contract with Harley????
If so I wonder how Harley thought they could compete with a bike like that, they are not even close to being in the same class and definantly NOT going to attract the same market..
I would bet one of my Not-so-major organs that after a short time (when epa and dot standards are met) and a moutian of paper work has passed we will see an 1190 in street trim again.
I'm sure the race spec one would but if there ever was a miracle and this was available for street I highly doubt Erik would over price it like the Italians or Harley
Oh that's awesome.
A bike we'll never get to play with.
The pods were dealt with in a way that still vents properly, and the tail section looks like a million bucks cash.
It's like knowing you're going to die right before man figures out light speed, and knowing that you'll never see the cool stuff we discover.
I jokingly made a comment on his face book one time about a 1190 street bike and his comment back was he was only concentrating on race bikes for the next year or so. That tells me that after this year he may start attempting to make that thing a street bike.
ya man i hear ya,it really just makes me wanna puke,,,on the front door of our hd dealership they never ever did their part to promote buell in any way just kept saying ''they just arn`t popular''.
