I used to enjoy watching Monster Garage when it came on. Especially the episodes where the build failed. As for OCC, my main complaint with them is the following. If you have a freind of relative that doesn't ride, and they know you ride or have an interest in motorcycles, they feel compelled to give you some OCC crap for Christmas/Birthdays, etc.. I have the complete series on DVD (never been opened, never will), multiple OCC t-shirts,(all never worn) and one year, one of my children gave me a bottle of OCC Cologne. BTW, the colone smelled like a cross between scrotal sack residue from a horse and a port-o-let on a warm humid day.

Jesse has fallen out of favor with me ever since the prices kept jumping by 20k with every motorcycle mania. West coast choppers had a horrible rep with the BBB for merchandise for the longest time. (but that was with fan merch and not bike parts). Still at the same time, I think he got ripped off. How many of those people that voted actually got on a bike before? Jesse's bike looked true to his style and while people are claiming its too vanilla, Building those parts from scratch and working with stainless is a b*tch.

Jr's bike looked like it should be sitting in a hillbilly's yard distilling grain alcohol. I applaud the use of something different (for him) by trying to go with the rivets... but for me the wheels were way too big and too many rivets..it looked bedazzled. Also why make the bike look like anything... whats wrong with building a bike that stands on its own. Also why design a bike that smokes deliberately like somethings wrong with it?

Sr.s um .. whatchamacallit.. while not a bike... I'd still want to take a spin on it and light someone up.. He look scared to death just trying to control it and crawl it on to the platform.

Props to Jesse for telling it like it is and saying what he feels. Even if there were hurt feelings. Welding some flaps and door hinges to a pile of catalog parts and painting 50 cal. bullets to look like little missiles and calling it a jet fighter bike never did impress me that much. Its just a big fancy rolling billboard/neon sign that tractor companies, rogaine pushers, and aluminum siding people are dropping money on because its fashionable. Wonder how comparable the fee for commercials and air time are to the cost of a bike and exposure of having your company attached to a bike build over 2 1hr episodes of the show.

Did no one see Jesse riding that thing? Feet pulled in on mid-mounts and arms stretched all the way out and you're hunkered over like a hunchback. A rider?! PLEASE! That has got to be uncomfortable as all hell. I'd rather cruise Main Street on Sr's ... thing. It's also plain. Sure, he has a lot of craftsmanship into it, but he's competing with show bikes, you need to be showy. Like Sr, his build was for a different class of build-off; Craftsmanship, not Show.

Sr's, while innovative and cool looking, is NOT a bike. It's not a trike. It's like a cross between a snow-mobile and a Bobcat. I think it is very cool looking and probably fun as hell to drive, but it's in a different class than what this build-off called for; Innovative not Show.

I think PJD deserved that win. I love the steampunk-esque looks of that bike. It looks way more comfortable to ride than Jesse's plain-jane chopper. It's something I would take out and cruise town on and glady show off.

That's my $0.02

If the build off was like the old days where they rode to a destination for the judging, I think they all would have made something a little more practical but since it was like going to a SEMA show, I'm surprised the bikes had to start at all.

Junior's was definitely the most interesting one out of the bunch but not my favorite of his bikes.

Did I miss it? Darn.

I quit watching it years ago when it was more about the family than it was about building bikes.

the worst part about occ was the drama because it was the same damn thing that was going on in my life with my family, and a big family owned automotive shop in co.. my brothers and i busted our ass off for my dad since we were 5 wanting to someday take over the shop, during my parents divorce my old man, who had the same moostach as sr told the fam the shop was going to his manager. but unlike occ i didnt have discovery filming it so i couldnt open my own shop[mad] so all in all i dont watch that sh!t anymore

I know 3 people who have bought bikes from them and after a couple thousand miles they just start falling apart...

hahah maybe H-D is dumb enough to buy and mas produce that wanna be can-am thingy... i bet it would draw a better crowd then a sweet american made sport bike...

I like how everyone thinks jesse's bike is useable. You didn't see him on it? He couldn't see over the bars. He was all hunched over to the side looking beside the forks cus he couldn't see anything. How do you ride to sturgis when you can't see the road? Plus, all his shit talk makes him look like a child.

i thought the shit talk was hilarious that was the only thing good about the show. I watch american chopper every week and have since it first came out. I really enjoy the show but most of the bikes they build i think are stupid. Pjd has made a few decent ones. I like the anti-venom. But this thing he built for the build off was hideous. the tank was cool but the rest of the bike was way overdone and i hate the tall skinny wheels. I was a little let down by jesse's bike but it was still a really nice bike and was my favorite and looks like a chopper is supposed to. the thing is though i knew pjds bike would win just because thats what people like (that dont actually ride bikes) a shinny bike that u cant ride with propellers as wheels

Don't forget folks.. it's all TV. Jesse, I'm sure was prompted to talk shit. I knew as soon as I heard that the public would vote on the bikes that the whole thing would be bogus. The public for the most part doesn't know what is cool. It would have been better for a panel of seven Judges to choose, and let each contestant name one judge, with the rest picked from the industry. Jesse was the only true bike builder on the show. Did they show Jr. or Sr. actually doing anything on the bikes? Nope. Sr's contraption was about as stupid as what Jesse used to build on Monster garage. Jr's bike was ugly and Jesse did the whole copper and rivets thing on Motorcycle Mania 3 back in 05. The essence of a custom bike is to have nothing on it that doesn't make it go or stop. Jesse's bike was the winner in that respect.

its totally fake... its TV

Their feud is real. Live 2 minutes from Jr. and the shop chat with him every now and then, much better person away from his father and TV cameras.

Sorry, why does everyone keep calling it Senior's bike? Did anyone see him turn a single wrench?

But he made the deciding call for them to make that......thing. I mean build THAT for a Motorcycle build-off is just stupid. I liked how Jesse was gung-ho about building it himself, then had to pony-up and ask for a local shops help. Whatta Idiot.

You think JJ is an idiot because he asked for help? JR and SR have crews of people do do the work, they buy frames, buy tanks, etc, JJ (at least when I first saw him on tv way back when) builds his own frames, hammers out his own tanks with a mallet and sandbag, etc... those things take a lot of time.

NOT a fan. I can appreciate Jesse James fabrication skills and I do like some of his products but I think the “chopper scene” and “theme bikes” is pretty much over.
