amsoil 20/50 ok for the 1125?

Need to know cuz the oil is pretty dirty. Po said it was changed but im doing it anyway. Book says to use only screaming eagle syn 3. Im hoping thats just more hd propoganda as i have amsoil here at the house.

Yes, your engine will probably sigh in relief when you give it that oil. Almost 30k on the clock on mine, all but 1500 miles of it with Amsoil 20/50.

Good, didnt want to have to step in the stealership. Now I just need to find a good cross for the filter. I'm partial to Purolator as they are still made in the good ol USofA.

EBR carries the filters, I think they were $15 or so.

Cool I was hoping I could use the Amsoil since I already keep it on hand here. Now I dont have to make a 20 mile trip into town plus the dealer isnt open today anyway so Ill get to see how the CR likes it. Maybe it will quiet down some of the rattling that is going on. This is really a noisy engine. Of course I cant hear it rattling above 6000 rpms...lol. Maybe a louder pipe would cover the rattle....lol
