The LED's should be here today or tomorrow. I have to wire than and the fuse block along with the radar detector all at teh same time. So I will have the LED's in before the motor... or at least mocked in place so I can finalize them once the motor is in. I don't want to half-ass the final fit and get a sub-par glow comming from the bike.

@crxtasy169 - According to Adrian at Revolution Performance and their site, it will be at 10.5:1 Maybe further down the road I will do a monster bore kit, and bump the compression and what not, but for now, I will be happy with what I have...

Blue LED kit arrived in the mail. Joe Florida looks like a very good quality kit and I look forward to a very simple install. There are 20 blue LED in total, and getting them all in the right position without the motor in place will be a pita....

Finally got the cases painted, and assembly starts tomorrow!

When you got your case blasted and painted, how was it masked? I ask as when my spare swingarm was blasted they let a lot of grit into the tank. Having crap and paint inside the case isn't good. What type of paint did you use? I'd like to get my entire engine sprayed when I rip it apart to replace the lower section.

I masked it with galfers tape and made sure it was sealed up tight. One of my heads got sand in it and its not fun to clean whatsoever.

The paint was teh rustoleum flat black for grills. has a heat rating to 1200 degrees, and from what I have seen it will last. I also shot a few coats of primer first as well.

The motor assembled next to the bike.
