Some pics from me and my brothers ride after we got off work today. This is where I go to carve, about 10 mins from my house. Took a few pics this time though.

That place looks fantastic!!!
Only downside, you probably can't ride during the winter?

Edit: Just noticed that place is in New Mexico, so you probably can ride during the winter too!

*jealous*

Nice man, I've been up that road in my Subaru [up] Not super long but some good twisties!

I'm in Colorado, we are getting ready for a big snow tomorrow [down] Looks like you might have limited days here pretty soon huh?

I definitely ride during the winter, its just a snowboard that I ride, haha. But seriously this is northern new mexico, in the mountains. I'm about a 40 min ride from colorado. We get tons of snow and our winters are way too cold to ride. I actually like snowboarding just as much as riding so it works out very well for me. The last pic there is actually the front face of the ski resort I ride daily. Already got my season pass!

Looking at a cold front and a large snow storm sometime this week. Its all good though, I'm welcoming the winter. I just hope for a ton of snow!

Awesome tail trade!
Thanks! It was actually a front end swap. I put the firbolt front end on my lightning, and my brother swapped the ligtning front onto his firebolt. Its a common mis conception that you have to change wiring harnesses to do a firebolt > lightning front end, but that is just not true. If you are smart about it you can actually stash the fuse boxes, etc behind the tiny lightning wind screen. It turned out great.

I live out in the country with open roads, but don't have the elevation you've got! Enjoy it! Pretty country!

both bikes look good, I happen to really like the look of the lightning front with firebolt tail

Cool pics . Looks fun . Except seeing snow in back ground is a bad sign riding time is limited .
