How did the grips work out for you? I'm also looking for grip solutions...

Sorry I forgot to update...

Thanks to ryanextra for sending me the grab on grip covers (for free [up])!

I have only rode one time with them on, things have been busy lately, but I did about an 8 hour ride with them. They are really nice and comfortable, definitely better than just plain oem grips. They installed pretty easy over top of the oem grips, and add some diameter so it's easier on the hands(and are also softer). I will purchase them in the future when this set wears out, they do help.

Here I just took a couple pics to try to show how much thicker they are than the stock grips on my bolt. They come flush to the "lip" on the edge of the grips.

I believe what he sent me was made by Grab On and they are called Grip Covers.

I bought grabon Johars. they are grips and not just slip on covers. I've never seen any with more cushion and OD.

They sure are comfy on my boney hands
