Another Pelacrash Group Buy?

Hey guys/gals, I'm looking into getting a set of the Pelacrash sliders. I tried to set up a group buy over on BadWeb but only sponsors are allowed to do that over there. So far there are 5 people, including myself, who are interested. I have an email into Pelacrash to get pricing on a group purchase. Are there any others here that might be interested?

Count me in. My bike is coming back from the dealer next month, when HD was tightening the engine mount bolts they fractured the frame where the frame meets the pinch bolt. So I'm waiting for another month for them to MAKE me a new frame. They say its a material flaw.. so watch out for that when tightening these. As far as protection goes, on the last group buy a member said, that if the slider transfers enough shock to damage the frame, it would very likely damage the frame just as bad without it.

How much and how far do they come on past the shrouds?

I hope to have numbers form them tomorrow. I do not have any measurements of how far past the shrouds they extend, maybe one of the people that bought them in the last round can get measurements for us?

They don't stick out very far but I did smash the hell out of my shin once in a right hander at the track when the front end stepped out a bit... I went to put my foot out (old motocross habit) and bashed my shin so hard into that slider... Hurt for a week+.

Unfortunately they have not gotten back to me. I will be sending them another message shortly. I will point them to this thread to see if that can motivate them to provide pricing seeing as they will be guaranteed a number of sales.

Frustratingly still nothing. They responded 2 days after my first inquiry with a roughly translated "How many are you interested in buying and where do you want them shipped?" I responded immediately and have not heard back since. Despite following up with them a few days after that first response I sent them in order to point them to this thread and to give them an idea of numbers.
