Hi anyone know of a good shop in the Bay Area for Buells? Seems like the Buell sounds a little rough, but it may just be normal. Just wanted to get someone to check it out.

All my work has been done by Fremont HD, which is now merged with Oakland HD. Of course everything I've had done was warranty work, so it just made sense to go through the shop I got my bike from. It's a long way for me now that the moved to Oakland though. I think squiddybuell had good things to say about Dudley Perkins in south SF.

There's JT&S performance at Infineon, but Don't have any first hand info on them.

what part of the bayarea are you in? and is it stalling sputtering or just poppin? hit me up before the weekend.

JT&S is who I'd go to. They will dyno tune your bike for $275 I believe. If it's a 08-10, it may be an extra $200.

I'm in Monterey, we should ride sometime.

i'm in SF, umm...not sure what it's doing...it may be just normal and i'm being overly paranoid. it is my first bike though. I think it's the sound of the lifters or valves. not too sure that why i wanted someone to just listen and check it out.

check the oil and other than that it's a harley motor you will hear valve train noise. you should hit up red ranger he's working out in the city and more then likely would stop by and give you a ear. or maybe tomorrow or friday evening i can swing out that way.

Last time I was out there I had a rear tire replaced at Dudley Perkins. Can't recommend them. :(

YMMV,

how can they mess up a rear tire?
oh wait a minute... i thought the same thing about my front tire, but mcguire's in walnut creek managed to crush the wheel bearings and have my kickstand fall off.
