Has anyone else ever walked out of the house to go on a bike ride then realized you forgot your bike key and house key and your locked out?

been there done that... I bail over the 6 foot fence in the back yard and use a credit card on the backdoor. Once I didn't have my wallet on me either so I broke our ADT sign and used a piece of it

Nope I got to have my keys to lock the door to leave because I only have a dead bolt. it does suck having to unlock a security door and then my apartment door just to get my key for the bike.

I'm very good at not forgetting/losing my wallet/keys/etc. but I have one of those digital door locks anyway. So no keys for me :) Well worth the ~$100 IMO. Can also change the code at any time.

I dont think i need to lock my doors anymore, I was met by the dog biting at me why i was coming through the window

Locked myself out at 3am in a cold snap one winter. -5 degrees 40 mph winds. I was surprised how hard it is to kick a door down.

Yeah the dogs help too.....but I don't know that mine would actually attack....but they sure sound mean.

I would not have that problem cause the key never leaves the bike when at home.I keep my bike in the garage so no need to remove it.Locking myself out the house is a different story.Mom lives just 4 miles from me so if needed I can just ride over and use her key to my house.

Yeah, I've learned the hard way to always have quick access to a spare key for both my apartment and my vehicles... I've pulled a stupid too many times and either locked my keys in my truck or apartment. Doh.

I have a key fob garage door opener that I keep on my key chain w/ motorcycle key. Cant close garage without it, unless I do it from the main button inside of the garage. I did however do this at my old house where my garage was detached from the main house. Luckily my room mate was nearby and had me back in in like 5 minutes.
