As far as the lady is concerned I'm sure she will love the Buell. She hasn't been on it yet. She loves the vibes on my Honda so I'm sure the Buell will be even better! :D

I don't care too much about the distance. I just want to ride! I need to try and do my breather re-route tomorrow if we are going to do this Sunday. Off to the breather re-route thread to get the parts list...:)

Are we still trying to meet up around 4? Where are we going to meet at if we are still on for today? Looks like a pretty good day to ride so far! [cool]

Yesterday the gf and I took the Honda out for a ride. Rode out to Bennington. Strolled around this man made lake with nice houses/mansions around it. Then we took HWY 36 to Fremont. We were worried we might not make it though. My gas gauge hit the last bar with about 20 miles to go. It didn't even start flashing though and we made it to a BP and took a break. Got a water and some ice cream. Then took a very spirited ride back to O-town following a Aksarben heating and air van. I was doing 70-75 and he blows past me at about 90. We rode down Dodge and were going to take 72nd back to the area we live. On the way we stopped in sniffed around at Dr. Johns for a little while.

I wish I would have been on the Buell when we went to Dr. Johns. There was a younger guy behind the counter when we pulled up and he was just gawking at us out of the window talking to the girls behind the counter as we pulled up. We walked in and he said "you gotta tell me! What year is that?" I said 2008. He turn around and was like "I TOLD YOU! NO LATER THAN AN '08!" He said "600 or 750?" I said 600, Honda doesn't make a 750 sport bike. Then he told me that he was looking to a get a bike next spring and he was probably going to get a Ninja 250 to start on. I said that it would be a good starter bike but I would get the 500 and that I started on an EX500. It was just hilarious how excited he was about my bike. Then he kept coming over telling us what product was good and what not to waste our time with. LOL It was borderline awkward from the time we walked in until we left. I can only imagine how much he would have flipped out if I would been on the Firebolt.

Regardless it was a great ride with the gf and we are looking forward to getting the Buell out today!

As much as I wanted to go today, A friend of mine told me she was getting a devorce and was looking for people to help her move today. Couldn't really tell her no. Guess I will try to meet up with you all next time.

I'm still down. I'm not exactly sure how long this meeting will last, I live downtown if you wanna meet someplace around the old market. FYI I will be exiting the meeting regardless before four to ride.
