So Im laid off from work [down] and have all this time to ride but Im getting tired of riding by myself. Lots of curvy backroads in this part of Illinois. Just hit one of my old favorites today and the road is still in great shape (most was just redone)
If anyone has a bunch of time of their hands and looking to ride let me know. I like a good pace but not stupid...most of these roads have farm access and their very twisty (for IL) with some blind unmarked corners. Im familiar with the roads but being cautious isnt a bad idea.

I live west of Milwaukee maybe we could meet up next weekend and go for a cruise. Im always looking for some new roads.

Cool..sounds good. Looks like rain this weekend. im going to go out for a bit tomorrow morning/early afternoon but it looks like the rains hitting late friday through Monday. If Sunday clears up it would be the perfect day

Cool...I still havent made it downtown on the bike....been on a few group rides out there though. Ive ridden with some people from ChicagoRiders and CLSB. Theres some really good twisty roads in NW IL..if you havent been on em and your interested let me know.
My hometown (Sterling) is about 100 miles west of downtown Chicago right off of Interstate 88...real easy to get to. Nothing here really but a good starting point. If Im not available Id be happy to suggest the best route.

I'm just north of Madison, but I need a new set of tires before I can do any distance :(
Down to right about wear bar... and I couldn't get anyone to put tires on yesterday (Saturday) and now all the shops are closed until Tuesday

Still up for riding. Will be at "Lazerfest" in Iowa this weekend but Im ready to go for Friday if anyone needs to get on some twisty's
