I was checking out those new Scorpions at the shop the other day. You might wanna check those Scorpions out.

X2 on scorpion namely exo1000. No better bang for the buck. They are high quality and have all the tech of helmets twice the price.

The Kali helmets look good. I have yet to hold one or try one on though.

It was hard to track one down to try on. Glad i spent the time to though. Fit me better than the shoei rf1100 and the bell rs-1 i was also looking at.

and it weighs only 3lbs 1oz!

Wow, whats with all the Bell helmets? Picked up an RS-1 at the DC Motorcycle show a few weeks ago. My Vortex lid was too worn in and loose. Dropped down to a Large. on this bad boy.[up]

Sorry no pics but I just got the agv gp tech simoncelli helmet since my kbc is now 5 years old. I absolutely love it. So simple 2 red stripes but quite intimidating when its behind u. Plus my dreads which reach my butt kinda one up supersics phro!

rtrac1, can you please give some more info on the Kali? I am looking for a light-weight, aerodynamic, carbon fiber helmet, and one of them is on my list to find more info about.
Like, do they fit true to size? Weight? Wind preasure at high speeds?
Thanks!

Just got a Nexx XR1R Carbon and love it. Biggest eye port of any helmet I've worn.

Baught the old lady a bell vortex this summer its a top qaulity helmet very affordable quiet good air flow and very affordable i highly recomend it.

Thinking of going with a new Scorpion Exo 1100, hoping it will come close to ventilation and weight compared to my Arai. Want to add a BT headset, probably gonna try a sena SMH10, appears to be a little better compared to some of the others.

I won me a buell flame kbc on eBay. $110. Tags still on the strap and in original box. Be here tomorrow

I picked up an HJC CL-16 last spring. It's both DOT and SNELL certified. I am very happy with it.

For the Pro's, It fits great with no pressure points and is very comfortable, I can wear it all day. The top vent does seem to flow almost nothing, but my dome has never seemed to sweat in it regardless. The shield quick release system works flawlessly to change shields. The first click on the visor cracks it open just enough to defog or let some air in even at hywy speeds without the visor flipping open or snapping back shut.

Con's, It is a little noisy and could use a chin curtain. I haven't been able to find a chin curtain in stock anywhere for it and everyone is sold out. I really wish it also had a built in sun visor. I commute on my bike and it's night by the time I head home and I'm staring at the sun on the way there. It's a pain to carry two visors all the time.

For being a cheap helmet though it's more than you could expect for $130.

i hate it when the days get short because i have this problem also. i have my clear shield on now and have a pair of glasses i wear when its sunny.

Scorpion EXO-1000. Comfortable helmet and good value. Pull-down visor is kind of nice, but hard to keep totally clean. "Pump-up" cheek pads are a cool idea - though I've found you adjust once and just leave it alone. In any case - good looks and good value. Nice visor & fog-free windshield.

flame helmet came in the mail today, $110 sealed in original box with tags and stickers
