ive done an 8 hour round trip ride, la harpe, il to st. louis and back, on my 12r. my ass was killing me once i got home but took off for another ride. i have stock seat and pegs. did find that if i kicked out the passenger pegs and put my feet up on them and laid down it was suprisingly comforable. almost fell asleep a few times. i would recomnd some kind of music player, zune, ipod, sirius, ect., to listen to on your trip.
