Anyone Ever Notice Changes in Exhaust Tone While Riding?

Maybe I've got a little more of an "ear" than others, (I'm an auto mechanic by trade) but I can distinctly notice the change in exhaust tone when the ECM changes the timing and mixture.

Anyone else notice this?

PS - I have a factory race exhaust, if that matters.

I listen to music while I ride so I don't listen to much else!

yes while tuning it is possible to make the idle "crisper", by altering air/fuel ratio and/or timing

Yes I too have the factory race can and during the season changes especially I do hear a slight tone change. I have 32,000 miles on mine now and I can hear the muffler growing louder as it ages. LOL Kind of like a fine wine [up]

I have a custom pipe on mine, and yes, I can definitely tell the difference, also
