Yeah, I think the chances of getting road debris caught is very slim at best. If your trecking through the woods on a Uly it might be a different story. I'm a fair weather rider on cleanly paved streats only so the gaurds are coming off.

another thing i find to be better looking is...

now that's the last customizing thing i'm telling, or your bike will be as cool as mine :p

luckely, i'm not done yet :D

to cleaify...titanium is the colour of the frame. (fueltank)

Just to clarify further, Buell calls the XB9 frames "Fluid Silver" and the XB12 frames "Graphite Gray" I haven't been able to find out what they call the color of the odo-case and tail-piece. Doesn't matter, it's an ugly color and will be getting painted over anyway.

Thanks for that last pic LeFox, I'm definately going to lose the belt guards and add some sliders. Once I do this little mod

I must be missing something

eh, i even took the picture half done half original.

the bright part is nog because the sun is shining [smirk], the edge (with the teeth) has been polished.
gives that little extra attention to the belt...

Ah, I did think it was just glare or worn off. Yes it will offset the belt nicely and give a little balance to the front brake rotor as well. Please post a pic when it's all done.

I just found this. Sanded pulley looks great Lefox! But is it steel or aluminum? I already have a rust problem [sad] so if it's steel, I probably shouldn't do it.

I used a DA on mine fairly sure it was Alu. before comitting, I'm glad it is plus Dave that's a sick idea to hit that edge with the body color, pics?
