anyone have a spare shifter laying around

Low sided my bike yesterday ground down the shifter nub and bent the bolt that the shift pivots on. Also ground down the bar end but not to worried about that. I was surprised when I seen that was all the damage. So does anyone have an extra shifter? Going to the tail of the dragon at the end of august and need my bike ready.

I can help u out with a linkage set up if u need it, don't have a shift pedal though. Glad u are ok.

I have a shifter thats a bit outta shape. Ghetto painted and the bushings are shot in it. You can have it, works fine used it for months that way. Buuuutttt... Why not just get a new one from americansportbike.com they arent un affordable new, and that would be best, rigged control systems can pose issues.

If you order the stock one from a Harley dealer, only order the shifter, not the rubber toe piece extra. It's like 3 bucks, but the shifter will come with little rubber piece already. My dealer weaseled an extra 3 bucks from me. I think the shifter link was 27

Not trying to thread jack, but tonight I lost the screw that ties the shifter to the linkage. Does anyone know the thread pitch or screw size or part number for this guy? Thanks

That would be a 10-24 X 3/4 in. long stainless allen head bolt. You can get at lowes or any hardware store.

thanks for the replies guys. i'll try the dealership to see how much it is. and thanks for the thread pitch on the bolt for the linkage need that too. im alright for the most part feel like i've been hit by a truck, my back is hurting a bit and if i was smart enough to wear my jacket and gloves that i paid good money for i wouldn't have road rash on my arms and hands. side not also need grips for my 1911 i had on me at the time but thats not important either. anrkizm that shifter is awesome but not $75 awesome.

crazy, im in the same exact situation as the ts, shifter lever just broke this morning & I ride to work every day, plus im going to the dragon at the end of aug also! ha, maybe well run into each other....not literally I hope lol If anyone else has one I'm still looking also
