I put the tensioner on and it is a wonderful thing. I only got 30 minutes on the bike after working on it after work yesterday afternoon but it does everything it is suppose to do.
As mentioned my primary interest was to use multiple sprocket combinations and it will do that. I went with a 26 tooth front from Baker but I can tell you would likely get a many as 3-4 teeth over or under stock should you want or need to.
One big unintended benefit was that the shifting on my bike was instantly better. I presume this has to do with the reduced load on the gear set.
