There are like 20 million people in southern CA, someone has to have an extra ECM for my 2005 XB9? Don't they? I'm fairly sure that is what is wrong and I'm ready to buy one. I say Southern Cal because that's where I am and I love instant gratification. (If that's what you call 3 weeks of trouble shooting).

Am Sportbike, will help you tune but does not provide ECMs. They also told me if I buy a brand new ECM from Harley I will need to bring them my bike so it can be programed. Apparently EBR would send them pre-programed so they would actually be usefull to you. Harley wants to force you to go to the dealer! Nice. So I would have to load up my 450 pound paperweight into a truck and bring it to them so they could program it, or I could find a used one from someone on the forum. Guess which one I did?
