It seems like these tires are taller than the Dunlops, anyone notice that? The way the bike is jacked up it didn't even want to fit in the same spot the old one came out of.

MC, no clue how you did that one unless you were burning it a lot or got a bad tire, or rough roads. I've got 7K+ on mine, and shows some wear, but nothing terrible. There is no such thing as an easy start on my bike, the front wheel is nearly coming up on 75% of my starts (I'm addicted to the torque) 
. I'd make sure of your tire pressure, though. These start vibrating on stops if you get 3-5 pounds off on air pressure in the front. Kind of scary.

don't forget when your tires heat up it will add a few psi
