Pretty sick of trying to shout at the top of my lungs to my wife through the helmets and exhaust noise and was wondering if anyone has used the chatterbox systems?

how do they work?

which system do you have?

What do you use now? Couple buddies of mine use Chatterbox and are pretty happy with that especially when we ride in group and the guy in front can talk to the guy in the back without having to make a phone call.

I have a scala rider g4. My wife has her own bike so it makes it much easier to communicate. Also connect my android phone to it via bluetooth and listen to pandora radio.

I've got a whistler bluetooth. Don't remember the model number but i got it from cycle gear for $100 came with everything. Listen to music make calls all that good jazz. I like it.

im about to do the same....

Im going to pick up the Sena SMH10 set soon. Best price I could find so far was 269 with free shipping. Tired of yelling to my GF at redlights..

Had a set of BlueAnt headsets with the ex.
Same function, little less $$ that the chatterbox.
Worked great for what we needed them for, good distance with them too.
I have their new F4 now and stream music from my phone to work.

Bought 3 Chatterboxes for our first CA trip. They worked fine in city speeds around 35-45 but the windshieldless nature of our bikes made them less than useful at highway speeds.

I think they would prob work just fine for fully faired, big windshield cruisers or just around town.

Actually need to gather them up and see about selling them sometime...

YMMV,

My wife is an intrepreter for the deaf. I have learned a little bit of sign language so we're able to get a few things across while we ride.

I have an autocom from topgear accessories, it is absolutely awesome. I have my radar detector, mp3, gps, and phone plugged in. The phone is the main channel so if I get a call it mutes the other channels until the call is over.

Pretty slick.

sighn language for me

My fiancee and I have our own made-up sign language that we have developed over the course of 2 years or so. I want to get some kind of comms system though... too expensive right now. I have other priorities.

We have our own kinda language too, but it would be really nice to talk about getting off at an exit, or if one of use needs fuel, etc. So I want to get some kind of helmet to helmet system with decent range.

That Sena SMH10 looks pretty nice. I wanted to try and keep the price around $200
