Has anyone ever used plastic polish on their bike, and does it really work, honestly? Also, what kind of time did you put in?

I have wondered the same thing. Does the end result look any better than just with Armor All?

I use this, for the past 6 years, no issues

I love Plexus for general maintenance, but if you're trying to remove scratches or fade go with Novus. A buffer will speed up the process but if you go that route be careful not to burn it.

Thanks guys. Do they actually work though? Can anything get the plastics even remotely back to their original shine?

Yes...Novus removed fade from the Buell decal and scratches from my plastics and they look real good. You have to be patient though...

what thrust said

Did you mean me? LOL [confused] Maybe you were thinking about my Thrust Blue plastics? LOL

I seriously use Plexus on a lot of things...Helmet visor, LCD/TV screens...I actually use it all over my bike (other than the seat...too slippery) to keep it clean unless it's really trashed (mud etc) or as a quick detailer on my car. I've called it "Jesus in a Bottle" before! :p It's kinda expensive but it lasts for a long time.

I've used Plexus for years and trust the product...as an aircraft mechanic part of my duties are cleaning interior and exterior surfaces, the pilots' and co-pilots' windshields are the most important to have clean, from general aviation to commercial, the price of windshields and passenger windows range from several hundred to thousands of dollars, so if the industry gives the thumbs up on the product and with my experience with it on that application, it's good enough for my Buell:D

I've used a couple different brands. Mother's plastic polish works great too.

[up] for Novus. Picked it up last week and made my '03 plastics look awesome without too much work. Used level 2 and 1
