I need to get my hands on a pulley cover for XB's for 2 different year ranges:

1) 2006-7
2) 2008-10

Anyone have one to lend or sell to me? I'll pay shipping and if it turns into a 5-0dro product I'll be sure to give a discount for helping out. [up]

***I already have mine from my 2004 so I don't need one from a 2003-2005.

Thanks!

I have to check but I think I have one you can have. Just pay the shipping and it is yours. As long as I have it ;)

Damn 50 why couldn't you of asked this a few weeks ago!!!

I'm in the same boat as batman, I have no problem letting you barrow mine but it's the only one I have and wouldn't want it gone too long.

06 ss

you can "borrow" mine 05 12 scg if this helps. How long would you need it for?

Thanks but the 05 is the same as the 04 and I have that.

I wish I had. I'll probably need it for a few weeks. I'm not convinced that the 06 is any different. Maybe just a part number check would help? Could you have a look at that and let me know what that is?

Thanks guys!

If I can get to a decent price-point it will be like a discount for all! :D

The 06 was the year of the swingarm change. The new oil lines were routed past the front pulley. The 06+ covers have more room for the stator/VR (#77 and such)connectors because they stuffed an oil line in there too. So, the front of the 06+ cover is flush with the pulley area of the cover, and the 05- are not flush resulting in less room for wires. Thats the difference.[up]

Awesome! Thanks! [up] Does anyone care to share a close up pic of this showing the oil line routing etc?

Any idea what the change was in 08 that may have prompted another change?

Hope it helps, I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thanks guys. Anyone with the year ranges above care to measure the distance between bolts? That's probably a good place to start?

Here's a pic showing the overall length of mine. Something tells me that they're all the same from a bolt distance prospective and overall length & height (or at least I'm hoping this is the case).

Thanks xx, but it's hard for me to tell the overall length from that angle. As mine measures, it's around 10 1/8". Can you confirm that with your 09?

Thanks!

Pulled mine off, its 10 1/8" as well.

That's great! Do you mind confirming the distance between bolt centers since you have it off?

I have:

From rear to top front: 7.5"
From rear to bottom front: 7.125"
From top front to bottom front: 4.125"

Thanks! [up]

I have my 07 currently off if I can make any measurements, take pics etc let me know what you need.
