I'm looking at a spikes tactical .223

2x7 loop hole scope (I couldn't find this so I'm not sure I got that right, I know it's a 2x7)

not sure of the brand, but a 2200 lumen flashlight and a laser sight on it.

sl 7 Harris bipod

with about 1000 rnds of ammo of various kinds of .223

New, the rifle is probably $1100.

Scope is probably this. Leupold® VX-2 Riflescope $300

1000 rounds of ammo, probably $400+ worth, but if any of it is steel cased, I'd either pass on the ammo or sell it off. Personally, I only shoot brass cased ammo, but I guess I'm a snob when it comes to shooting good ammo.

There's pretty much no way of knowing how many rounds have been thrown down the barrel, so unless the guy gives the reciepts with the rifle, it's anybody's guess. Barrels are relatively cheap though. The tripod and laser/light combo don't really do much for me, so I'd probably take them off anyway. What's the asking price for all of it?

he was wanting a straight up trade for the daytona pretty much

For what I was finding he wasn't even coming close to the asking price, just wanting to make sure

Well, assuming everything was new, never fired, then figure it might all be worth anywhere from $2k to $2500 on a really good day. You can build one cheaper and do it the way you want, but you'd have to wait around to score parts to build it. AR's are coming back on the market again (walmart has bushmasters for $977 in stock), ammo is a little more difficult to find still. I have enough to tide me over until the prices drop back to pre-SH levels as long as I don't go gettin all crazy with range practice. I don't have time to go shoot anyway with all the stuff I have to build, but that's beside the point.

Tell him the gun and 1g cash.. then I'll trade a few guns for the ar with cash.. I could always use another ar

My dad just purchased a similar set up, I believe he dropped close to 1100. But I think he only got 250rds and no bi pod. I should mention he is a good friend with the gun dealer and an ex cop so he may have gotten a lil discount?? I so would love to have an ar. I'm with Donnie @ the very least 1k and the gun for the bike.

omaha, I asked him if he'd consider throwing in 300 and he said no lol. I'm just going to hold onto the bike for a bit since I have a friend that wants to buy it.

I had a guy try to trade me an AR for my bike a week ago. He said it was worth 4 grand..didn't wanna sink that into a gun lol just curious if it was the same guy. I'm near Fort Dodge, IA

The dude is trying to steal it from you. I'd say that guns worth $2000 TOPS! Don't let him take advantage of you.

Im a whore when it comes to ammo. Ill shoot anything :D

Im thinking it would price in around 2k with all the goodies. Especially with how in demand ARs are these days.

I'm advertising my xb that I'm selling with a partial trade for an ar. Gunbroker.com is where I do all my pricing. There is even NIB ones for $700.

I took the market into consideration, but the fact that the market is starting to come back to it's senses doesn't go in his favor.

Yeah, he is definitely trying to take advantage of you.

The market is bouncing back, and prices should start to drop some / everything will start to be more readily available. I would just sell your bike and hang onto the cash and buy one on your local armslist.com or build one yourself. You will probably come out ahead money-wise, and have an AR that is exactly as you want it.
