Hey guys, I have a 04' XB12R and I was wondering what tool you guys use to scrub your wheels? I've used a tooth brush but it takes a long time and doesn't get into the valleys of the wheels or the corners easily. What do you use, and what wheel cleaner?

I use a dish brush similar to this:

The one I have has a bit of an angle on the head that allows you to get into the crevices pretty well. I just use the same cleaner I use to wash the bike, but I followed it with Armor All wheel protectant after and that makes it pretty much a spray-off clean. Not sure how long the Armor All will last though.

I use a dish brush similar to this:
I use brush & sponge after bike is rinsed off I spray liquid wax all over bike & rims then spray off with air and buff.Bike turns out great also after few time with wax rims just rinse off.

Plexus works really good on any painted surface or plastics.
I normally do a good soapy wash to get rid of the major dirt then let it dry and do a wipe down with the Plexus.

I have white wheels, and the only thing I have found to get into some of the spots on the front wheel is a Q-tip; and I like to use Meguiar's quick detailer.

I just spray simple green at it, decently pleased for how cheap the tool is.

I wipe my bike down and dry wash it after every ride. Keeping a bike clean and prestine is a lot like keeping up with yard mowing. The longer you put it off the HARDER your task becomes.

A buddy of mine at work just told me about Flitz Polish, has anyone heard of this stuff? He had a bottle and I wasn't sure if it was safe for our rims or not but we tried it on a few spots on the rim and it looks good! Ill do both rims tonight and report back.

I used it before to polish up my truck wheels when I has polished alum mags... Worked great in that application.
