so the christmas season is finally over which means im not saving money for xmas gifts which means money to throw at my girl! First thing first.. fender elimator kit to clean up her backside. Which one does everyone use? The two im contemplating is EBR which is 20$ or Jardine fender elimator kit which is 65$ whats everyones opinions.if you have pics post them up.

I have the Jardine on my 1125R. The EBR one does not have a tag bracket or provisions to re-attach your turn signals- if your going that route.

ah so i got on jardines site and found they sell led screws to illuminate the plate. is it a pain in the butt to wire, does it take away from the looks? thoughts, pics, suggestions?

Been lurkin for a while, but I picked up my CR just before Christmas and ordered the evotech performance tail tidy. Hasn't come in yet but I'll post pics when it does.

Made my own with some scrap aluminum, a drill (and drill motor), a file and a hammer.
Added a touch of semi-flat black paint.

Cost, about an hour and a halfs work, and two fasteners.

Much better than paying someone else.

Mike

That looks good 09CR.

Here are a couple pics of the Jardine. I like it because you can drill out a couple of holes at the bottom of the tail light and it will illuminate the plate...keeps the cops off ya.

I bought the Diesel Moto Kit but the license plate bracket keeps snapping. Maybe too much vibration? Not really sure and up until yesterday I was able to catch it before I lost my plate....LOL They sent me several replacements but they keeping breaking.

I got a Diesel Moto fender eliminator for my XB12 and it´s a piece of crap!!Bad finish and painting but best of all I can't fit that damn thing to my bike!!The holes simply doesn't match the ones in both side rails...very expensive and very disapointing[down]

lleubbx - That sucks! I did not have that problem but I do agree with you. I was highly disappointed on the quality and if I was going to spend that kind of money, I should have bought the Rizoma kit...Randy at Hawk does a fender mod and I was asking him what his thoughts were...I will be sure to post them when he responds....

@03Firebolt9R - Bike looks great! I've been looking for someone who's removed the passenger pegs and brackets - do you have any tips on what to do with the black drainage tubes (what are those called, anyway?) that run down the inside of the left-hand one?

Also, do you happen to remember what size the hex bolts are that attach them? They look pretty big, so I'm going to have to buy some larger hex keys.

Are those LED turn signals on the front? Where did you mount those exactly, and did you do anything special to line them up? Is there any rewiring or additional circuitry, or can you just splice them into the wires that go to the OEM turn signal mirrors?
