Ordered some new levers on Monday night, needed some shorty's and ASV seemed to be popular, and anything that states "unbreakable", I should probably have it. Motomummy dot com was at 160 for a set with free shipping, 40 buck cheaper than where I could find, searched on the interwebs for a while. Also, got my order today, basically a 2 day turnaround, as I ordered them late Monday night. Can't wait to put em on, never changed levers before, I'm assuming its a pretty simple swap...?? Any tips? Right now I have a little up/down play in my clutch lever that I'd like to get rid of.

The new levers should do the trick for the play! [up]

Step 1) Send the levers to me! They'd look good on my bike! :p

Seriously, it's extremely straight forward. Just do one side at a time so not to mix up parts.

Post pics of the levers. I am getting ready to order levers. I was thinking Pazzo's but AVS look like solid levers.

Just installed the clutch lever quickly, but still seems to be quite a bit of play. I little up/down and also a little slack in the cable. If I'm pulling in, and a little "up", I hit my high-beam flasher. Lever doesn't seem to line up exactly. Let me know if a pic will help. Wanting to get this lever on as it should be, before I do the brake.

Also, is the grease that important? I have heavy duty mechanical grease. Still lithium based but for wheel bearings and such

Good choice on the ASV levers! I have those in black on black and love them! I had CRG shorties before and liked them too but I like the textured finish of the ASV levers better. I use Silicone grease on the pivot pins and the clutch cable end. It's always good to grease up the moving parts in both lever assemblies!

They feel great, aside from the play in the clutch lever. Directions said something about adjusting the cable before removing the lever, couldn't figure out how to do that, so I just disassembled. Adjusting down the levers is great for my little racoon hands. I really just need to find someone in MN that's Buell mechanical inclined. My good friend was Harley certified MMC mechanic, but died a couple years back when he crashed his xb12. So anyone from MN wants to get together, and teach me some basic maintanence and
