I just purchased a set of tires online and need to get them installed (incl mounted & balanced of course). The prices I've found in Austin are as follows:
Zabors = $160
Woods = $145
CenTex HD = they don't work on Buells
Cowboy HD = $200

Any other recommendations for a dependable shop that charges less?

I took mine to Cowboy but that was only because they were doing something already.

Just about anyone can swap the tires as long as you trust the shop not to F your wheels.

On my GSXR 600 I used to have Bill Kassen do it down on Congress and Oltorf (ish). Still a small shop, might be beneficial for you to just take the wheels in and then reinstall yourself. Let me know if you need a set of stands while they're off.

Thanks Doc. I appreciate the feedback.

I just talked to Wes @ Pink Gorilla. He recommended Austin City Powersports on Stassney. Called them, they'll do it for $120 and Wes highly recommends them so I'll give them a try. Fingers crossed...

Let me know how it works out, they may be my next stop for tire mounting.

Mine costed me 30 bucks at cycle gear...
Take the wheels off the bike and take them in, you'll save a TON of money

Doc,
Took the bike in Sat morn and picked it up same day before 4pm. $119 out the door for both wheels, not bad. I expect to go back to them for other stuff. Nice guys.
