AVOID TWIN MOTORCYCLES NL!

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Myself and many others on this forum do regular business with Twin Motorcycles NL without complaints.

Genau. Milliarden Fliegen können nicht irrren, ...

XB12XWI, I can back up your complaint. I ordered a throttle tube for my XB12 from them and it was completely the wrong fitment. It squeezed into the housing and then would turn with great resistance and stick. If I rode the bike I would have crashed. I contacted them several times asking for a replacement or a refund, with no reply. BUT when I had contacted them originally inquiring about purchasing the part, I got an instant reply. Sketchy. I will never give them a dime again.

This was the original video I posted. I knew Twin Motorcycles was sketchy, I was just waiting for someone else to complain.

The internet TwinMotorcyles.NL, it will come back to haunt you.

Considering, they are going to be the company that steps up to save our Buells when Harley can legally step away and leave us dying...think I can let your 1 bad experience go.

I dont understand how a small business in the Netherlands will have any effect on Buells in California, for example.

hmmmm, for example...ASB has made a huge impact around the world and yet they are a two person operation in Vista, Ca. working out of a small warehouse keeping our bikes going.
don't count twinmotorcycles out of the game...just saying

So what are you saying? All the USA support is going to wither up and die, but twinmotorcycles.nl will persevere? We will have to line up to their store like homeless people in a soup kitchen?

From what I recall, reading one of twinmotorcycle.nl's posts, when they need specific parts they got them from USA stores. I'd wager if the USA support goes away, if they don't disappear before that, they will shortly follow suit thereafter.

Lol ill put money on that bet.
You should do more research before you throw your money away.

Damn, I'm out 100 internet dollars.... double or nothing?

All I know is those Dutch freaks at Twinmotorcycle.nl took $80 from me and gave me a bogus part, and then told me to get lost when I asked for a return or exchange. Xb12XWI was cheated by them as well.

I guess Nigel Powers was right

never had any issues with them.

maybe next time ask the usual questions.

- is the part in stock.
- will the part fit my year/model bike.
- what are the terms and conditions of return if part is incorrect.
- what is the warranty return cover.

i always ask these questions.

just because you didn't do enough or any research doesn't mean the company is bad.

The part was advertised in detail on their website. I contacted them prior to my purchase and they cordially discussed that the part was correct for my application They took my money and sent me an incompatible part. Then they answered my requests for a refund or exchange with complete silence.

Grego, your issue was over a year ago.

Since users here simply blew you off, you feel the need to stir shit on other forums?

i stand by Twin Motorcycles and 5-0dro.

sorry GregoXB but you seem to have failed followed the instructions and the "no return policy" stated on the site.

I can speak for Don's case since it involves 5-0dro. I will not get into the "nitty gritty" details (nor will I get into a web argument over it) but in general, this is what happened:

Two special order products (intake flange sets) were purchased then he had some installation issues (roughly 2 months after the purchase) which we worked with Twin through many emails to advise on the correct installation procedure. Don was dissatisfied with that procedure and insisted that we take the products back.

Even though we clearly state that Twin Motorcycles parts are not returnable (mainly due to the international shipping costs involved), we offered to return the products less the shipping costs.

We're sorry that any customer is ever dissatisfied. In this isolated case, we feel we did as much as we could under the circumstances to take care of the situation. I can assure you,as can our loyal customers, this is not the experience with nearly 100% of our customers and the Twin Motorcycles team has been very supportive with any customer questions or concerns that have ever come up since we've been a US dealer for them.

Thank you sir! [up]

...although our comments weren't to Greg. They were to Don. Greg bought direct through Twin Motorcycles so his case was a separate (yet similar) instance.
