Well, my gas light came on after 58 miles..That was yesterday. Today im on my way to work and my damn bike dies at a stop light. So like 10 miles maybe after the gas light. This is the worst mileage iv ever gotten. The only thing I can think of is im riding in 15-25 degree weather with and my headers aren't ceramic coated.

The streets are covered in sand so I havn't been rompin on the throttle at all, and its all in town miles. Iv never gotten out of 3rd on the that tank. In town I usually get 80+ miles before my gas light. Any ideas?

cold weather mileage goes way down probably running on the rich side from the startwith your upgrades

Header wrap/Ceramic coating. Carry a gatorade bottle of fuel with you at all times. I used to do that on my dirtbike, just enough fuel to get you back. All you really need anyways.

That's just crazy. I've never got under 120 miles before my gas light comes on.

Apparently the 08's are mappable now. Maybe you need a cold weather remap.

Same here. Granted most of mine is highway commuting, but usually got 140 before low fuel light. 80 miles, then light coming on seems awful low. [confused]

wow Iv never seen 140 before the light. Tops I got was 125 once and that was on a trip to canada. I dont really wanna wrap my headers I do plan on getting them ceramic coated I just dont know when now that im actually riding again I dont wanna take them off and miss a couple weeks while they get coated. RAWR!

Where'd you hear this? Maybe its time to give my shop a call.

are you sure your trip meter didnt reset on you giving you false information>?

My buddy Kajer found a shop that can do it in the bay area, but they haven't been able to get the 09s mapped so he hasn't done it

So dont give me too much ****. But I figured it out, thanks to Trill. So about a week and a half ago, I left my parking light on while at work for about 4 hours. My bike started and got me home, but later that night when I went to start it to put it inside it didnt have enought juice to turn her over. So I took the battery out and put it on a trickle charger for the night......

glad you got it figured! it has happend to me when i forget to put the trickle charger on after messing with ecmspy for a while.
