Hello guys. I am selling my baffled muffler I made for $200 shipped. I had an extra muffler around so I made another one. The valve is functional but I had it wired open for better performance. Your results may vary.

I will also email you the wideband tuned map I made for this muffler. It was tuned on an 2009 XB12R with muffler, K&N, modded airbox, and breather reroute.
Thanks
Brett

Here is the thread documenting the build.

Here are a couple pics and vid's of how it sounds.

nicely done Brett
always appreciate when someone does there own thing [up]
sounds good, sounds like it'll bark!
:D

liked the little peek of the cruiser in the second vid
;)

+1 for being handy and making something to share with someone
:)

LMAO! Yeah my coworker recorded the vid for me. You would think he could of at least stepped away from the cruiser so he wouldn't get it on camera. LOL! Oh well. At least it gives you an idea of the sound.

The second muffler I made which I am running now has larger baffles. Made it a bit more mellower, quieter, and with less bark. Although I did lose some midrange torque with version 2 and the larger baffles. I am switching to XB9 gears soon so running at higher rpms will negate that.

why are the pipes in the pictures and videos different? one has a silver end cap and the other has a black... sorry i am interested and want to know what i'd be getting. thanks

Cjdesign the end caps are the same in all pics and vids. what you are seeing in video #1 is the black idler. Which just keeps tension on the belt. Btw the exhaust sounds great[up]

CJ, it is the same exact muffler in the vids, pics, and other post. The 1st and 2nd pic is the muffler after a coat of high-temp paint and ready to ship. Version 2 which I am currently running I made 2.25 in baffles. The one I am selling has 2 in baffles. Both have chrome tips, same design, etc.. The larger baffles I am currently running give me more top end but at a sacrifice of midrange torque. (think Jardine muffler). But I am going 2 switch to an XB9 gear ratio to make use of the higher powerband now. If your interested my paypal is brettstoner (at) hotmail (dot) com. I can drop it off at UPS on Tuesday. Thanks. BRETT

I think he may be confusing the exhaust clamp (which is at the end of the pipe) and makes it kinda look like there is a chrome end piece on the end of the pipe. [confused]
