Hi I have a lighting stt was wondering what's a better seat for it Baldwin or Corbin I am wanting a seat that is comfortable for long rides?

Baldwin. Quality and craftsmanship is very good. You will not be disappointed. You can also design your own seat from their website. I matched up the stitching to my Hero Blue color scheme.

Don't know about Baldwin but Corbin has the worst customer service on the planet. I purchased a seat for a kawi through the kawi dealer, We told Corbin that i needed a seat that would move me closer to the handle bars by an inch or so (cruiser bike and I am short). It took 3 months for it to show up (riding season was almost over) when it finaly did show It didnt fit the bike without 15 bucks in hardware from the local ace. Once I got it on the bike It moved me 1 3/4 inch away from the handlebars, I no longer could safely reach the forward pegs. I called Corbin for two weeks and left messages before I was able to get ahold of them, and was met with a receptionist that immediately put me on hold without even asking why i called and left me on hold for twenty minutes. When the receptionist finally came back on the line she said "what do you want". I explained what happened and that i wanted to return it, they would not take an exchange or a return, they would however re cover it with new foam for shipping, labor and parts cost. They said it would cost around $150-$200 for a seat that I already payed over $400 for. I went to the kawi dealer and explained all this to them, they went through the same as I when they tried to call Corbin. Corbin never made it right and my kawi dealer ended up buying the seat back from me, they told me they wont be doing business with Corbin any more.

Thats my experience with them. Do yourself a favor and Google Corbin customer service reviews or corbin customer service issues before you buy from them, I wish I had.

What about for two up riding what provides more comfort for that?Sorry to hear about that Buellfighter it will definetly sway y decision.

Can't say too much bad about Corbin's customer service, and I can't say anything at all about Baldwin, but I can say that Corbins revolutionized the way I have ridden several previous bikes I've owned.
Trips over 3 hours that seemed unimaginable with stock seats all-of-a-sudden became not only possible with a Corbin, but I found I could go on for 8 more hours!
Having said that, I actually find the stock XB seat quite comfortable compared to typical stock seats. I have spent 10hr days in the saddle of my Ss, and I don't feel that an aftermarket upgrade is necessary. Perhaps the standard 'S' seat isn't quite a comfortable (?).

My stock xb9r seat makes my r6's seat feel like a 2x4... I have a Sargent seat on my 954 that's a big improvement over its stock seat... But I've been eyeballing an upgrade to the seat for the xb9er... It's gonna be my primary mode of transportation soon..

Oh, to call the seat on my ZX6rr a 'plank' would be a compliment to it! It's ridiculously tortuous!
The Buell seat is a throne by comparison...
