so last year i bought a ballistic battery for my scooter. putting it in, didnt seem right. i checked out my grounds, connections, and everything else. finally i took the battery over to a guy with a shop and had him put it on his meter which measures voltage and cold cranking amps. it was SUPPOSED to be 410.... i was getting 125; no wonder it would hardly start the bike.
anyone else had issues with ballistic?

Got my Ballistic 12-cell a few weeks ago. No issues yet.

How do you measure CCA? My voltmeter just gives me voltage and let's me 'ohm things out.'

Do they bolt right up with the old connectors? Do they require the ballistic charger or can i use my same one?

While back someone posted up this link for a good price on. I ended up getting the Ballistic 8 Cell EVO2 Battery for $132.95. I called the distributer and spoke to them to confirm it would be enough for cranking my 1125. So far so good.

I was also under the impression that you had to buy the "special" trickle charger. Not true per the guy I spoke to. So I have been running my regular trickle charger on it with no problems.
