Saw this last nite, maybe 3/4 mile from my house.

They weren't in full riot gear, but about 1/2 or more had AR-15's from what I could tell. Yup, either a silent alarm accidentally pushed or it was a robbery in progress.

Guess what I had on me?

Mine's had a little over 1k rounds through it so far, need more ammo. It's not cheap to just practice with, so I normally shoot my SR-22 Ruger more.

never understood why the bi-tones are so much more expensive than the black [confused]. They both have to be painted. I think even the stainless is more expensive.

Best ammo I've found is the 100count Winchester FMJ at wally-world, $30ish per box.
Solid plinker rounds and pretty clean.
Unless you do bulk orders from like Cheaper than Dirt

I've been getting Federal 100 count boxes for about $28/box. Tried out WWB, both jacketed and HP. I normally carry the Federal HP 165 grain. I have some of the Federal Hydra-shok, got those from a relative, just haven't shot any of it yet. He says he can get me all the 5.56 ammo I want too, so now I'm thinking I needs me an AR-15.

I don't know what the local PD carries, looked like AR-15's to me, but I didn't get up close and personal.

Nice! I'd whip out my AR and ask if they need a hand. JK We have some real trigger happy police in Vegas, then again we have some real bad criminals too. Cops get shot all the time. I've been looking for another carry weapon. I have a Sig P238 and a Kimber Ultra Carry...both shoot amazing! Then again, I've done a lil polishing and finishing to the feed ramps, sears, etc. I looked at the new Sig 938...but I dunno. I want a pocket 9mm. Cheaper ammo, decent power, easy to conceal. I don't like any KAHR Arms. Not a fan of the Ruger trigger pull. I might give that Berretta Nano a try. I'm awfully picky about my firearms...lol
