Alright, this will be my last post for the night, but I was looking for some input on bar end mirrors. I looked at the low profile ones most people are running and though they look alright, I noticed the triumph thruxton has bar-end mirrors from the factory, I know they're both the same 7/8" diameter handlebars and I found some pretty good looking ones on british-customs.com. Just wanting a little bit of input and feedback really, thanks everyone. ]

Seem like you'd want to have the longer portion of the mirror to the outside? YOu get a lot of wrist if not it seems no?

I tried mine turned out and......well it looks silly.
with them turned in I can see just down the side of my forearm and the whole lane next too me. They are small mirrors so no matter where you position them you will be "looking" for them when you want to use them and then you do find yourself moving around to see in them. But it just is waht it is and I love mine!

Mike if you are back in town hit me up. I have bar end mirrors so you can see how you like them. They make all the difference in the world. I can actually see behind me unlike the factory mirrors that were useless.

The style you mention is actually called "napoleons"
Yes they install on the bar end but those are not traditional bar end mirrors. Not that it matters. But this info might help when you do google searches for more style options.

and only because you asked for it here it is.
IMHO napoleons are ugly and take away from the flow of any motorcycle. Kind of like them big air pods on an 1125. Some folks like them and some hate them.

Lesley said above that bar end mirrors are actualy called "napoleons" and said "this info might help when you do google searches for more style options"

So I tried it, I didnt find any mirrors but I found that pic and it made my coffee come out my nose.
