Bar End removal

i was looking into getting a set of bar end mirrors for my 09 Firebolt, but i'm not exactly sure how the stock barend weights come out, there are no screws or anything on them, are they just "glued" in?

what is the best way to remove these?

no there pressed in , best way to get out is. 1. the pry ang pull method or 2.take the clip on tube off and poke it out with a long skinny screw driver.

I used pliers and just twisted them out. No way to remove without destroying them.

One actually broke off leaving the over-glued plug still in the bar. If that happens, you need to slowly melt the glue with a heat gun (or maybe blow-dryer) and pry/scrape the rest out.
