I'm new to the forums. Back in high school this girl I liked Dad had a Buell, and I always thought it was awesome. Here we are 15 years later and I've started stalking them looking for the right deal.
I'm looking for a daily commuter, and I don't want to spend much.
There is an S1 for sale locally. The guy is asking $2000, but I think it's worth a little less. It needs paint, a battery, and the front brakes need work. It is sitting in a ugly and poorly done paint job right now. One thing to note is it does have the rare S1 twin tail. The owner doesn't know that is anything special.
Considering it appears you can get a damn nice old Buell for $2500 to $3000, what do you think this guy is worth?
